Page formatting

After much consideration, I have decided to establish several important aspects regarding page formatting:

  • Underlining is not to be used anymore! Accompanied by bold writing, it is eye-aggressive.
  • The Media section of episodes, characters, seasons, etc., is to be organized using a tabber, divided into two tabs: one for images, one for videos. That means that subsections of images will all be joined into the Images tab.
  • For the last time, do not be subjective! No funny writing, no audience-referring pronous and other parts of speech! Be strictly objective!

I do not like the tenor of this conversation?

"It takes a special breed of arrogance to believe everything revolves around oneself. sometimes that breed is called youth.  I don't know the source of the quote. he probably died of old age"

If anythiing at all, I just said I initiated the conversation, I did not take credit to say it was my idea, check the top of the thread

As far as I know, this is still the standing directive but I haven't seen any conversions nor have I attempted to do any of my own.  hoping for some clarification.  I've come back to visit this subject and re-read it.

Unless I get more information, I will assume that multiple images and even multiple galleries can be inside an image tab but there will be only one image tab.

also, as far as i know, subheadings don't work inside a tabber so any place where I had wanted to make a level 2 or 3 subheading will not be available in the table of contents.

Subheadings don't work because tabber eats them and the ToC would have to switch to the tab and then go to the subheading, so they would likely only work on the first tab anyway.

that fact leads me again to want plural image tabs where each has a distinct theme & heading

how well does the tabber handle larger tab counts?

Just okay. It has problems once the tabs start to wrap around... it works, but doesn't look great.

Fandyllic proposed an excellent solution to the matter, namely the collapsible option:

If you are interested, then expand

Otherwise skip over (endif, endcase ; little Computer Science Humor)

Collapsible option works well for mobile phone users

Well, it may work well, if the mobile skin supports collapsing... I'm not sure it does.

I just checked it out on the mobile, it seems that it expands the lists by default.

If anything at all, it is an ideal solution for desktop,  concerns were raisied about the photos being

"bandwidth hogging".
