The Abdel Rahman Badawi is a long-haul freighter operated by the Trachtman Corporation out of Luna.

Description[]

Officially the ship's name is Abdel Rahman Badawi but everyone on board called her the Abbey.

The ship's passageways are different shapes, depending upon the style when they’d been added or what salvaged ship they’d been taken from. The air always smells like new plastic from the recyclers. The crew maintains the thrust gravity at a tenth of a g to conserve reaction mass. The cargo decks are huge and can carry all the things that the a new colony would need including shelters, food recyclers, fusion reactors, and a wealth of biological and agricultural materials.

There are ten decks of living quarters on the ship. Each deck had four halls of twenty small cabins, each with two tiny bedrooms and a little sitting area with a wall screen and just enough storage for personal items. There is a shared lavatory at one end of the hall and a cafeteria at the other end.[1]

History[]

After the Free Navy Conflict, Anna Volovodov and her family decided to emmigrate to Eudoxia aboard the Abbey.[2]
