A large ship type. Ships of cruiser classification are the first in line to be fully capable as independent units, as well as Flag/Command eqipped for group and fleet assignments. Cruisers are utilized by the Martian Congressional Republic Navy (MCRN) and United Nations Navy (UNN).
Cruisers are between the larger Battleships and smaller Destroyers in terms of size and power.
Cruisers are large (capital) ships, fully capable combatants in all environments as single units, or fleet deployments for which are flag and command equipped, although smaller/less powerful than battleships, still of long endurance, configured for standard variations of types inside the cruiser classification. Cruisers are also fastest ships in the Fleet.
