Edin was a Belter working out of Tycho station in the Command Center

Biography Edit

Background Edit

Edin had ties to the OPA and to Anderson Dawes.

Throughout the series Edit

In "The Seventh Man", Edin is at his station when James Holden reports to Fred Johnson his discovery that Cortázar is missing from his holding cell. Edin reports that the docking clamps to Dawes' ship, at dock 28C, are releasing and the command center can't override since their system is locked out. This suggests that Anderson Dawes had inside help.

In "Pyre", Edin participates in Staz's rebellion to take the UN nuclear missiles from Tycho and from Fred Johnson. Thanks to alerts set up by Naomi, Alex and Amos are notified on the Rocinante in time to intervene. In her dramatic final scene of the season, Drummer executes both Staz and Edin after the rebellion is shut down. Alex can only look on dumbfounded when she takes his sidearm and broke free from his bracing support to do this.

NotesEdit

  • Edin is shown reading the name of the refugee ship that delivers Prax to Tycho when clearance is granted to dock. He instructs them that ID and med checks would be required. This is the only mention of the ship's name, Jefferson Mays, in the show itself. There would be some uncertainty that the name is a reference to a different arriving ship but the Syfy website confirms it is Prax's ship.
