Gero is one of the protesters on Anderson Station.
For the sake of the children, Gero is defiant in the face of the UN. Like Marama, he has a sick child aboard the station.
Throughout the series Edit
When the UN does not negotiate and Marama recommends surrender, Gero along with two other Belters is vocal about the need to continue the fight.
Although Marama implores them with the reminder that the protesters aren't soldiers, Gero expresses the attitude that withdrawing their demands would be tantamount to murdering their own children. He even suggests they should have killed more of the managers.
After the UN cripples the generators and he is informed that all their outgoing protest messages have been jammed, he is finally ready to quit.
