Kamala Trask was a Communications Technician on the Canterbury, employed by the Pur'n'Kleen Water Company. She is described by Naomi Nagata as being "built like a refrigerator" and having a "face like a bulldog puppy".
Trask harbored an unrequited crush on Executive Officer James Holden. Naomi noted that the reason she thought he'd be a good XO had to do with how she saw him treat Trask — with respect[1]
