Trivia Edit

  • The Avasarala character does not appear in Leviathan Wakes, but for context to illustrate the conflict between Earth, Mars, and the Belt, scenes were added with some based partly on events in Caliban's War.
  • Shawn Doyle was added to the main cast bill beginning with the episode "The Big Empty" and onwards.
  • Chad L. Coleman was credited in the episode "Windmills" but did not make an appearance.
  • Sets were built in a sound stage in Toronto that were 3 stories high and occupied 80,000 sqft.
  • There was no pilot episode - SyFy ordered all 10 episodes of the first season at once.[15]
  • The second season was ordered before the first season begun airing.
  • Syfy released the episodes 1, 3 & 4 online before their actual airing.
  • In September 2017, it was noted that credits shown for streamed episodes on Amazon Instant Video were revised to include more stunt performer credits especially those stunt performers supporting major roles.  Also added were stunt wire team credits.  This appears on the Ultra HD stream, www.amazon.com/dp/B01N0SMDTT.
